(More customer reviews)This mill is exactly what I have been looking for.It works flawlessly, since the screw nob on top is not used to adjust the grind size you can keep it tight so it does not move when you use the mill.The variable grind sizes provide plenty of versitility.It has a nice substantial wieght and size and grinds with little effort.

(More customer reviews)I love this pepper mill.However, I do not reccommend dropping it in a pot of water!My first one did not survive it. :DBut the quality is great, I love that it is one you flip over since the mills that have the pepper coming out from the bottom leave pepper on the counter.

(More customer reviews)This item seems to work with the salt that comes in it - it isn't very coarse.But, as mentioned by another reviewer (that I should have read first!) it doesn't work on Pink Himalyan. The product directions packed with the product, but not mentioned online, list a lot of things including Pink salt that it should not be used with.

The quality doesn't seem to me to be as advertised because there is very little selection possible on the fineness of the salt when grinding it - even with the salt that accompanied the unit.It will not grind as coarsely as common table sale, for example.Virtually no adjustment to the coarseness of the grind.

For me, this item proved to be useless.If you get it - be certain to use nothing larger than a medium sized salt in it - coarse just won't work.

(More customer reviews)I love this new (well, new to me anyway) u-select technology they have in the most recent Peugeot mills.I would highly recommend getting the newer ones because they give you five course/fine choices and they work very well.You just twist the bottom section of the mill choosing one of the five levels.Try it out first on all five so that you will know what you like.

Peugeot mills are sturdy, durable, made very well, and beautiful.

I love the natural color for salt, and I have the chocolate one for my pepper.The 7" mills are the perfect size for me in that they fit in my hands nicely and they fit in my cabinet perfectly.

In the past I had one of the lacquered ones and, while they are quite lovely, the lacquer chips fairly easily.I was not pleased with that so it is nice to have the choice of the wood without lacquer.

Incidentally, as of this date, amazon has the wrong picture up for this item.I believe it is the five inch mill they are showing.See pics that I have loaded that show the one I received, which is the correct item for this model.As a side note, mine has a cute smiley face in the wood which I just love.
