(More customer reviews)This beautiful box holds about half a cup of salt.That's ample, since I use it sparingly.It looks great at my table, without taking up an excessive amount of space.It is easy to open & close and I like the fact that is it made of environmentally-friendly bamboo.

(More customer reviews)I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this salt box.It is a nice large size, beautifully made and gets compliments from everyone who has seen it.It's beautiful enough to sitout on the counter and it is very well made.I love how the lid is attached and slides right open when you might not have two hands available to wrestle open a spice jar.I recommend this bamboo salt box as much for beauty as well as function.

(More customer reviews)I bought two of these salt pigs for my wife who is a professional chef.It's clear that the designer is a frequent user since they got so many things right.The wide always-open mouth allows easy access for the whole hand, even when the contents are low.And it holds a ridiculous amount of salt or pepper.Most other salt cellars we've tried have serious drawbacks: mouth too narrow, too small capacity, lids that must be opened before accessing the seasoning.These salt pigs are bit pricy, but worth it for the functionality.
