(More customer reviews)This item is a major dud!I looked for months for an all in one S&P mill that was attractive.And when I found this one I had to have it!But looks aren't everything, I found out.This mill has major issues when it comes to the locking mechanism.You put Salt or Pepper in one side and then the silver grinder piece is to lock into place.HAAAAAAAAAAA!Everything was great until I turned it upside down to use it.Seems that they forgot to add a locking mechanism.Because no matter what I did or tried the silver grinder piece NEVER locked into place on either end.Soooooooo I couldn't do anything with this thing.Except attempt, for at least 30 minutes or more, to hold the whole thing together and try to grind up the Salt or Pepper that way.No luck!The only thing that I did succeed at was having Salt and Pepper fall all over my counter along with a loud thug of a silver grinder along with it.
If possible I would give this product a negative rating, it was that poorly designed and made.So be careful when you want a useful item to be pretty.Pretty may be the only thing that they designed well.
